Community Engagement at The Gifted Women Project is the glue that connects us to the communities and people we serve. We are able to stay informed about community needs and how we as an organization can continue to make an impact. TGWP offers Free Community meals, and environmental services to disadvantaged communities in Baltimore City. Volunteers along with TGWP staff will have an opportunity to meet community members, form meaningful bonds and bridge the gap between community members, community needs and accessible resources.
TGWP is committed to helping our community overcome barriers within our scope of expertise. TGWP members work tirelessly to bring our services to the individuals who can benefit from them the most. We welcome volunteers to help further the mission of TGWP. Volunteers will participate in TGWP outreach, canvass identified communities to inform community members of services available to them as well as become more aware of the communities overall needs.
TGWP offers supportive housing to women ages 18-40 who are currently experiencing trauma. This can include incarceration, homelessness, and substance use. TGWP provides wrap around services to women who are eligible for the program through our 5 phase L.O.T.U.S program. Our program works to support women in their process towards mental emotional and economic stability. Contact us today for more information.
