The Gifted Women Project was founded in 2011. Initially, a one woman show, to advocate for the rights of women who had been incarcerated. Seeing a need for nonprofit work in this area, In 2018, TGWP became vested in filling a huge gap in services and building a bridge to help decrease barriers for women. Providing outreach services through community engagement, community meals, education, environmental services, mentorship and supportive housing.
